Generations of Irmo Assisted Living and Memory Care is owned and operated by David Edwards with a partnership with the Slice family. We are proud that we have built a trusted community with the managing partner serving as the administrator. We work hard to have the trusted relationship with our residents and their families as well as local churches, doctors, and community leaders in the Irmo area.

Open 24/7, this room is designed to make movie watching an experience to remember. When the room has no scheduled events, residents are free to use the room for movie watching or entertaining.

The stone fireplace and grand piano make this “Grand” room a favorite for all. Residents can enjoy sitting by the fire or listening to the baby grand piano. A vast number of sitting areas provide a place for everyone.

We have top-notch dining for breakfast (7-9am), lunch (12pm), and dinner (5pm). We have a private dining area in the new wing and "outdoor" dining under the veranda for private dining parties and family events.

The center is open 24 hours a day, which includes ice and drinks for quenching any thirst!

On-site hair care and services are available. These services are provided at additional charges. Our cosmetologist is on site every Wednesday and by appointment as needed.

Each resident room has a patio that allows for comfortable sitting and a nice area for gardening, bird feeders, and plants. We also have a large enclosed courtyard and great covered entrance where residents love to sit and watch the wildlife around our pond.

Our full-time life enrichment coordinator plans a variety of recreational, spiritual, and educational programs. Monthly calendars are given to all residents with activity dates and times. Families and friends are encouraged to join!

Our facility is equipped with first-aid care and supplies for small incidents. We administer all resident medications, which are kept under lock at all times. The only exception is for residents who have been evaluated and deemed able to self-administer medications.

If a companion/sitter is needed, one can be provided. The agency we use is bonded, insured, and covered by Worker’s Compensation. They are available to the resident 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our facility is wired for cable tv service and internet use. Cable viewing is available in the Cinema Room, and internet service is available in the Grand room. Internet charge for individual rooms is $30 a month.

We offer emergency pendants to all of our residents. The pendant can be worn and will be an added safety feature. The pendant, when pressed, will alert the staff to respond to resident needs in the location that they are present in the building.

We do allow furry friends. Each pet must be approved by our admission coordinator and administrator. We only allow for small pets. No large animals unless it's a service dog. You must be able to care and clean up for your furry friend completely.

Room Layouts

Our floor plans are designed to provide a small apartment feel to the variety of units available. The studios are approximately 412 ft with kitchenette, and built-in wall units, flat screen televisions, and a private patio. The Apartments include an open floor plan with option to customize the area based on personal preference and needs of residents.
